SIE Films

Founded in 2006, SIE Films produces feature films, documentaries, commercials, music videos, concerts and live events. The company has produced with Trumbull Studios, The Jane Goodall Institute, Spyder Active Sports, Warren Miller, and with celebrities such as Ice T, Q’orianka Kilcher, Mariel Hemingway, Danny Glover, and Jane Goodall. Its projects have been distributed by The New York Times, Netflix, and Hulu, and theatrically by Magnolia Pictures.

Robert Rippberger

Founder, Director/Producer


Robert Rippberger is an award-winning filmmaker with an impressive slate of films spanning almost over two decades. He has established himself as a trailblazer in the film industry, known for his unique storytelling and broad array of creative and executive experience.

Rippberger is set to direct two upcoming films; the new drama-comedy “A Good Fight” and the creature feature "Monstrosity". He also recently wrapped production directing the new sci-fi thriller "Renner," starring Frankie Muniz and Violett Beane.

Rippberger’s current projects include producing the documentary "How to Build a Truth Engine" with Executive Producers George Clooney and Grant Heslov, which will be World Premiering at the 2024 SXSW Film Festival. He’s also producing the documentary “The Mouse That Roared” from Academy Award-nominated director Judith Ehrlich.

Rippberger was lead producer on the stop-motion animated film "The Inventor" from "Ratatouille" writer Jim Capobianco, starring Daisy Ridley, Stephen Fry, Marion Cotillard, and Matt Berry. The film was released theatrically in September ‘23, and is now available On Demand. Rippberger also executive produced the drama “Our Son” starring Luke Evans and Billy Porter, which had its World Premiere at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival, was picked up by Vertical Entertainment and released in theaters December 2023.

Previously, he directed and produced the horror film “Those Who Walk Away” starring BooBoo Stewart and prior to that directed and produced the Harlem drama, “Strive,” starring Danny Glover. Both were released theatrically and received dozens of accolades worldwide.

Rippberger has also directed and produced critically-acclaimed documentaries, including “Public Enemy Number One” from Executive Producer ICE-T, exploring the U.S. war on drugs, along with “7 Days in Syria”, an exploration into the human side of the war in Aleppo, Syria. 7 Days in Syria was personally championed by Angelina Jolie, screened at Britain’s House of Lords, to senior members of the U.N., and was released on Hulu and Amazon.

Rippberger is a member of the Producers Guild of America and is on the PGA's Social Impact Entertainment Task Force. In addition to heading SIE Films, Rippberger is the founder and co-executive director of SIE Society, a leading global alliance of Social Impact Entertainment filmmakers. His second published book, “The Power of Storytelling: Social Impact Entertainment”, is available through book sellers everywhere.


Susan Glatzer

Senior Producer


Susan Glatzer’s track record of productions and acquisitions has garnered seven Academy Awards and 19 Academy Award nominations, along with numerous awards at the Cannes, Sundance and Venice film festivals. She has a broad knowledge of the international market and success in developing and producing commercially viable projects for the worldwide marketplace.

Serving as Senior Vice President for the Motion Picture Group at Paramount Pictures, Susan concentrated on co-productions and worldwide acquisitions. During her tenure at Paramount, she acquired films for worldwide distribution and brought into the studio and nurtured young writing and directing talent.

Ms. Glatzer served as head of the production and acquisitions department for October Films in New York and relocated to Los Angeles to carry out those responsibilities as well as establish and run the company’s West Coast office. During her tenure at October Films and USA Films she served as Production Executive on seven films.

Among the projects Ms. Glatzer has been involved with are Traffic, Napoleon Dynamite, Secrets & Lies, Narc, Breaking the Waves and High Art. In addition, directors that Susan has worked with include Robert Altman, Albert Brooks, Mike Leigh, Lisa Cholodenko, Joe Carnahan and David Lynch. As a consultant, Ms. Glatzer has developed TV pitches with clients for ABC, Columbia Tri-Star Television, Lionsgate Television, HBO, Showtime and Bravo.

Ms. Glatzer has served on the Board of Directors for the International Documentary Association, was a member of IFP’s Gotham Awards Committee, a Founding Member of New York Women’s Film Festival, a member of the Programming Committee for New York’s Channel 13, PBS’s flagship station, and a Juror at the AFI Film Festival, Seattle International Film Festival and Hamptons Film Festival.

Ms. Glatzer’s directorial debut, “Alive and Kicking,” a documentary about swing dancing, premiered at the SXSW Film Festival and was released theatrically in 2017 by Magnolia Pictures. “Alive and Kicking” was named the film to watch by The New York Times Watching section, received a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and was invited to be part of the 2018/19 American Film Showcase, the State Department’s diplomacy through cinema program.


Dana Dveris

Dana Dveris is a Writer/Director/Producer and Co-Founder of After Moon Productions LLC, a full service production company based out of Los Angeles and San Francisco specializing in narrative film, commercials, music videos, and photography.

She is passionate about women's representation on screen and behind the camera. Dana’s directorial debut feature film, “Let’s Meet Halfway” (an LGBTQ+ story with a majority female identifying cast and crew) won the Audience Award for Best Narrative Film at the 25th San Francisco Independent Film Festival.

Dana received a BA in Media Arts and Culture with a concentration in film production from Occidental College. Her senior thesis film, “At Last Deserted” was awarded the 2022 Strand Prize for innovation and excellence in media production and screened at the 18th Santa Cruz Film Festival.

In addition, Dana has a diverse array of creative content and film industry experience. She currently works at SIE Society and SIE Films, and has worked for luxury shoe brand Tamara Mellon and Kodak Motion Picture Entertainment.
